RANGE OF SKILLS

Working as a Live Sound Engineer since 2014, I’ve worked with established and up-and-coming clients. I have a range of skills including RF engineer, Monitor Engineer, Comms Engineer and Stage Technician. I specialise mostly in RF engineering & Comms. In this day and age the job of being an RF engineer is becoming increasingly more important and complex. With the spectrum being eaten up by TV and Mobile Companies yet the Live Sound Industry using more and more Wireless Microphones and Monitors I think its an important skill to have in the Live sound world. As a monitor engineer or tech I think having a very good knowledge of the RF world is also incredibly useful.
I have a lot of knowledge on Sennheiser and Shure systems, Clear Com, Riedal Systems as well as Digicos, Yamahas, Midas, Soundcrafts & SSL. Flown L'acoustics K1 & K2 Systems and also D&B Y & V systems. I use QLab Regularly and I am also fully qualified in ProTools (210 M & P).

WORK HISTORY

WORK IN THE ROCK & ROLL WORLD

Past Experience

I have done a lot of 'Rock & Roll' work over the years. This comes in the form of Touring, Televised Music Award Shows and Private Events.
Over the past few years I have Toured Europe with Artists such as Foreigner, Liam Gallagher, Florence & The Machine, Fast & Furious Live & Andrea Bocelli.

The Brit Awards & MTV EMAs are some of the larger Televised, Multi-band Award shows in my work history but I also have done some smaller ones such as The Evening Standard Theatre Awards and various Charity awards.

Festivals are always a large part of my summer, I find myself working at all kinds when touring but I also do some in house. Womad for example I have worked on for the past 3 years heading up the Site Wide RF.

WORK IN THE CORPORATE WORLD

Past Experience

I have spent a lot of winter time doing lots of corporate work. This includes slightly more 'band filled shows' like Google, Facebook & Youtubes annual Shows ft. people like Jess Glynne, Chaka Kahn, Elton John, James Bay & Craig David etc. On the opposite ends of the spectrum I have Mixed or Miced up on big banking and financial conferences for Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Goldmann Sachs and Berenberg.

Sport also comes into my work history having done a few FA Cup Finals at Wembley Stadium (male & female) and many of the premier League & FA Matches.
